    1. Are you signed up for the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program and Randalls Good Neighbor Program designating CBC as your charity? If not, please enroll today at these grocery stores in order that CBC may receive a percentage of all eligible purchases (no cost to you). Kroger Program requires re-enrollment every year and you can re-link your card Download Kroger Customer Letter for CBC. Details are available on the flyers in the CBC Office and on the Kroger Customer Letter. Donation amounts received:
      • Kroger - For period July 1, 2010 through April 30, 2011: $271.09 (Remit CBC flyer to the cashier so that your Kroger card can be scanned with CBC's barcode)
      • Randalls - Amount received for period October to December 2011 is $75.41. (CBC's Good Neighbor Number is 5002) Download Randalls Form and present the form to the Randalls' courtesy booth so that your Randalls card can be updated with CBC's barcode!     2. On Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 10 am - 12 noon, OCA-Greater Houston will be co-hosting an immigration forum at Collins Elementary School (9829 Town Park Drive, Houston, Texas) to help green card holders apply for citizenship. This is the first of 4 forums planned for this year. We will provide training for all volunteers to help immigrants to fill out their naturalization application. You do not need to be bilingual in order to assist with filling out the naturalization applications.     3. From Youth Ministry: Thanks to everyone who has turned in labels, boxes, box tops, containers, etc. for the CBC Youth Fiesta Super Sports Club campaign.

      The NEW/UPDATED list for the 2012 program is here! Download The Fiesta Super Sports Club List to see items needed to help support the youth or you can pick up a list by the turn-in boxes in the front foyer by the office and in the foyer in from of the Nursery/Preschool area.     4. To Members or Donors who mail the weekly contribution/offerings, or memorial gifts to CBC: If you mail your offerings or the memorial gifts to CBC, please include "Attention: Financial Secretary" on the envelope. Thank you for your assistance. (updated 10/10/11)

    5. To reserve any room or equipment, please complete the Request for Reservation green form which is available in the reception area or click here to download or go to https://www.connectionpower.com/products/main/index.php. Please place the green form in Senior Pastor's box in the reception area. All requests are to go directly to the Senior Pastor only. (updated 04/21/12)
       
    6. If anyone has any announcements to make during English and/or Chinese Worship Service, please coordinate that request with Kai Yuen at kaiyuenc@cbchouston.org by Tuesday of the previous week. Doing so will enable all worship support personnel to be adequately briefed and prepared. Kai Yuen will make a judgment call as to whether any late requests will be accepted for that week. For bulletin announcements, please coordinate your information with Church Administrator Wendy, Diana and Christopher by Tuesday noon prior to the bulletin date. If an observed holiday falls during the week, the bulletin deadline of Tuesdays at noon, prior to the Sunday bulletin date, will not change (updated 04/21/12)
       
    7. Communication Goes Digital - CBC is using 2 big screen TV's to promote different ministries through video clips, event photos, PowerPoint slides and other A/V materials. We encourage every ministry to take advantage of this new means of communication. Please send your materials to our church secretary, Wendy Cheng, at wendy@cbchouston.org or drop it by the office for larger size file in CD, USB flash drive or memory card. If your ministry needs help in converting paper materials into digital format, please contact the office. (added 01/25/09)
       
    8. Immediately before worship service begins, the FLC side entrance door (the one near the small parking lot) will be locked at 9:10 am. For all those who arrive after this time, please use the new sidewalk to enter the FLC thru the main doors. It would help to avoid distractions once the service begins.     10. After the Chinese Worship Service ends, we are asking everyone to help take all the red chairs to the FLC Storage Room and to help put out tables and chairs for lunch at 12:15 pm. We also need volunteers to help take down the stage every Sunday. Lunch ends at 2:00 pm; at that time, please help put all the tables and chairs in the Storage Room. Thank you for your cooperation!     11. Wireless Internet Access - CBC has wireless Internet access available when using an electronic device (e.g. computer, cell phone, etc.) with wireless capabilities. To connect, look for a SSID (or wireless network name) that begins with "CBC". Select the SSID that has the strongest signal and enter the password. To obtain the latest password, please contact the church office at (713) 461-0963. If you have any questions regarding the wireless network, please contact the Computer Committee.     12. Additional Parking Space is available at the Hunters Creek Village City Hall and Wells Fargo Bank on Sundays. We are asking for volunteers to park at these locations and keep the church parking lot open for the visitors and first timers.  If you park at the bank, please keep the Night Depositor area clear.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Please DO NOT PARK on the grass. (updated on 02/11/08)
       
    13. Food Services - one of our beloved members donated a Coke machine to Chinese Baptist Church. The sales proceeds will go towards our building fund. Please help recycle the aluminum cans; there is a designated can by the Coke Machine for ALUMINUM CANS ONLY. The funds made from the recycled cans will also go towards the building fund as well. If you have any questions, please contact Morgan Lee or Steven Toy in Food Service. (added 01/21/08)
       
    14. Reminder: Please do not hang flyers/posters on the walls or doors, only on the bulletin boards. All flyers/posters must also be approved and stamped by the Church Administrator before being hung. (updated 02/11/07).
       
    15. There is a Recycling Bin on the church property.  We encourage everyone to use the bin to recycle paper materials.  The bin is located next to the Parsonage.  (added on 9/7/03)
