Stand up for our Biblical values through government policies.

The Christian Citizenship Ministry exists to serve CBC and her pastors by helping disciple her membership toward a fuller expression of Christian faith in the public square. In this effort, this ministry endeavors to foster the Biblical virtues of love, mercy, truth, and justice on behalf of its neighbors through prayer, citizenship education, and organized social action within local, state, national, and international communities.

It further serves as a resource to the church's pastors by providing any relevant research or information on social and community issues.

Goals for the ministry:

    1. Voter registration
    2. Voter turnout
    3. Issues and voter awareness
    4. Education and training

The Christian Citizenship Ministry has a table set up weekly in the back of the FLC with educational materials regarding how we can bring Biblical principles to bear on the current issues of the day. We will be highlighting one current issue per quarter and the pro-life issue will be highlighted now through January 2010. Please come by and see how we can take a strong Biblical stand in our society.
