Pastor's Corner

Dear Family of Believers of CBC,
      Happy New Year! It's absolutely amazing that 2009 is here! As you reflect on the year, I am sure that you will recognize God's sovereignty in your life. Everything that happened to you and everything that you have experienced this past year and years past can be attributed to the sovereignty of God. So whether it was good, bad, indifferent, tragic, sad, whatever it may be, God was on His throne and in control of your circumstances. He also promises to make everything work together for good to those who love the Lord. So give Him praise for this past year and give Him praise for the year to come because 2009 will not catch Him by surprise. He knows what He plans to do.
      I hope you are planning to be here over the next 3 weeks because I will be talking about God's plan of economy. When all the world is looking at the stock markets, their investments, and their portfolios, we as Christians need to look at the scriptures to see what it says about God's plan. So I hope you will be here to learn some wonderful things about how you can get in on His plans.
      I hope you have a great worship time this morning.
