If your child is participating in youth or AWANA, please join us Friday nights for fellowship and dinner in Rooms 159 and 163. Food will be served in Room 163 or Office Foyer from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Afterwards, we will breakout into our respective groups: AWANA in FLC (Kids age 4-5th grade) from 7:30 - 9:15 pm, Youth in Chapel (Middle and High Schoolers) from 7:30 - 9:15 pm, Mandarin Fellowship in Room 163 from 7:30 - 9:00 pm, and English Adults R&R in Room 134 from 7:30 - 9:00 pm for sharing, prayer, and Bible study.

7 Stages Discipleship Training

The next series (stage 5) for the 7 Stages Discipleship Training, called "Healthy Relationships", will begin on Friday, February 7. This series will be led in person by Luke and Amy, the founders the 7 Stages Discipleship Ministry, meeting every Friday, February 7 through May 2. Even if you have not studied through stage 3 or stage 4, you are welcome to attend and experience spiritual growth and authentic fellowship through this series. Family Worship Sunday

Sunday, March 30 is the 5th Sunday for Family Worship Service together in the Sanctuary at 9:45 am. No Kids Worship in the Children Center for the first hour. There will be Nursery and Kids Sunday school only for the second hour at 11:15 am. Please pick up your children at 12:15 pm. To follow through last Sunday's Christmas celebration, we will be presenting the gospel message and extending an invitation to the older kids on Sunday. Please pray for the kids to understand and respond to the Spirit's prompting accordingly.

Baptism opportunity on Resurrection Sunday, Combined Worship Service: If you would like to take part in this special spiritual moment, please contact one of our pastoral staff or reach out to the church office at 713.461.0963 for more details. Baptism is an important step of obedience on the journey with Jesus as the child identifies him/herself with the death and resurrection of Christ, and shares his/her desire to follow Jesus with family and friends, and the church family.
Children’s Sunday School currently has openings for 2nd - 3rd grade teachers and nursery help. For brothers and sisters interested in helping, please contact Geraldine: Geraldinel@cbchouston.org, the church office @ 713.461.0963 or fill out the Kids Ministry Interest Form.

CBC Chinese School classes are held on Sunday afternoons at 1:30 pm in the Children Center (Room 211). Traditional and Simplified Chinese classes include Chinese character reading & writing, calligraphy, conversation, recital and activity teaching. Rainbow Seniors Fellowship Day Trip $30.00

Rainbow Seniors Fellowship will travel to Schulenberg, Texas on Wednesday, April 9 to visit German and Czech churches, famous for their hand-painted interiors. Please save the date from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27, 2025 for Vacation Bible Camp (9:00 am 12:00 pm) and Kids Chinese Camp (1:00 - 5:00 pm to learn Chinese Bible verse, calligraphy, games, and activities) at CBC. Volunteer to Serve
We are excited to invite those who have a heart for children to consider serving in our Kid’s Ministry. Whether you have experience or just a heart for teaching and nurturing kids, your presence and passion will be a blessing. Vacation Bible Camp (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) and Kids Chinese Camp (1:00 - 5:00 pm) will be held from June 23-27, 2025. This is a great opportunity for the church to come together and make an eternal impact on a child's life, whether through prayer, preparation, or participation in program activities.
