The CBC Office will be closed on Friday, April 18 in observance of Good Friday. On Sunday, September 12, a Joint Worship Service for all 3 congregations will be from 10:00 - 11:30 am in the Sanctuary. All Sunday School classes will be canceled. More details to follow.

Join us for Good Friday Service, on Friday, April 18 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm in the Sanctuary (English congregation) as we remember and reflect upon the Lord Jesus’ road to Calvary. Mandarin & Cantonese congregations will meet together in the Chapel.

As we prepare for our upcoming Combined Easter luncheon, we are in need of volunteers to help set up tables and chairs to ensure everything is ready for our lunch fellowship. If you are available to lend a hand after the Good Friday Worship Service on Friday, April 18, your support will be greatly appreciated

Combined Resurrection Worship Service will be held on Sunday, April 20 at 10;00 am in the Sanctuary. Kids’ Special Easter Program and Egg Hunt

Resurrection Sunday Children’s Bible story outreach and Egg Hunt will be on Sunday, April 20, immediately after Resurrection Sunday Joint Worship Service in the grassy Atrium (between the Education Building and the FLC) until 12:00 pm. All children up to 5th grade are welcome. To support the Easter Egg Hunt, we encourage all CBC members to donate plastic eggs, filled with hard candy (please NO chocolate candy) in the designated bin in the CBC Office front desk area until Saturday, April 12. We greatly appreciate any donations. All Children should be supervised by parents or guardians and please bring your own basket.

Afterwards, we will breakout into our respective groups: AWANA in FLC (Kids age 4-5th grade) from 7:30 - 9:15 pm, Youth in Chapel (Middle and High Schoolers) from 7:30 - 9:15 pm, Mandarin Fellowship in Room 163 from 7:30 - 9:00 pm, and English Adults R&R in Room 134 from 7:30 - 9:00 pm for sharing, prayer, and Bible study.

7 Stages Discipleship Training

The next series (stage 5) for the 7 Stages Discipleship Training, called "Healthy Relationships", will begin on Friday, February 7. This series will be led in person by Luke and Amy, the founders the 7 Stages Discipleship Ministry, meeting every Friday, February 7 through May 2. Even if you have not studied through stage 3 or stage 4, you are welcome to attend and experience spiritual growth and authentic fellowship through this series. Rainbow Seniors Fellowship Day Trip $20.00

Senior Rainbow Field Trip will visit Family Farms in Plantersville, Texas on Wednesday, May 7. You can pick your own fresh pesticide-free vegetables and fruit (pay by the pound; bring your container & ice pack.) Activities include hayride (minimum of 20 people) for $2.00 per person, fishing: catch & release @ $10 per hour (rental $5.00 pole, $10 worms or you can bring your own gear). In the afternoon, visit the last built Painted Church, whick is still in use. Cost is $20.00 for entrance fee/lunch and tea included. The bus will depart from CBC parking lot at 8:00 am.   • We are excited to invite those who have a heart for children to consider serving in our Kid’s Ministry. Whether you have experience or just a heart for teaching and nurturing kids, your presence and passion will be a blessing. Vacation Bible Camp (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) and Kids Chinese Camp (1:00 - 5:00 pm) will be held from June 23-27, 2025. This is a great opportunity for the church to come together and make an eternal impact on a child's life, whether through prayer, preparation, or participation in program activities.   • Galveston, Texas (Youth) Update:

    Spring Break Youth Disaster Relief Work with BOUNCE Mission, March 12 - 15 in Galveston. Thank you for praying, giving, and supporting the Youth Spring Break Missions. Twelve youths from CBC, Northwest CBC and Home2Nations BC joined the Texas Baptists Bounce Missions. View the video summary

  • Cambodia: CBC is partnering with a Christian organization called Pleroma Missions in Cambodia to minister to girls rescued from trafficking and sexual abuse.

    • Cambodia Mission Trip Support:

      CBC is sending a team to Cambodia this summer, June 29-July 6, 2025, to work with an anti-trafficking ministry that provides healing and restoration to rescued girls.
