Training

Everyone who is or will be working with children and youth (birth - 18 years old) is required to take the Child and Youth Protection Training. There are 2 parts to the training, Next Gen Training and Child Protection and Prevention Background Check. We value the safety of the children and youth entrusted under our care as well as those who serve. A Child and Youth Protection Policy and Procedure is the initial yet critical step to ensure the safety of all involved in the community. The Ministry leader will be following up with the volunteers.


Next Gen Training and Child Abuse Prevention Online Training: There are 2 parts to our online training:

• Next Gen Training covers how to minister to our children and youth. It will cover the policies and procedures of CBC
• Child Abuse Prevention and Background Check. We see this as extremely important for the safety of our children and youth as well as our community.
