"How to Be a People Helper" by Gary R. Collins via Zoom for 12 weeks, available in English & Chinese, is excellent for spiritual maturity. Learn to become HIS cohesive body of Christ Jesus Our Lord & Savior. Learn how to make friends, how to comfort relatives, friends, coworkers, and how to heal yourself (Jn. 13:34-35). WomenWise - "Wisdom for Mothers" by Dennis Glenn via Zoom for 8 weeks (September - October). This class, available in English & Chinese, is excellent to mature the single woman to become equipped with godly character to allow God to pick her future spouse, to equip women to become godly mothers and grandparents, and to equip CBC women to become women of God (Titus 2:3-5) for raising up the next generation to heed the great commission (Matt 28:8-9), for the world is waiting for the return of Christ Jesus! The theme for Sunday Worship Service on Sunday, September 5 is "Hearing God through Music." Pastor Kai Yuen will be playing piano music and sharing the 4 Spiritual Laws. It is a light and relaxing program; please invite non Christian friends and neighbors.
On Sunday, September 5, we will be holding our monthly communion. During the worship service, the pastor will give instructions to break the bread and give/serve to other family members, etc. Upon arrival for English or Cantonese worship, please pick up the sealed Lord's Supper packets at the foyer desk, before entering the Sanctuary and discard the empty packet when you leave. This practice will continue until the Virus Task Force permits resumption to using serving trays. To participate at home, you will need to secure communion bread and cup (grape juice) by

The CBC Youth ministry is accepting new and returning adult leaders to serve in this extremely critical, profoundly instrumental, humbling ministry. We're looking for those who deeply love Jesus and truly love students and their families. We have many ways of serving students from on-the-ground discipleship, to care for youth workers, to administration, to serving youth while away at college. View list of postions. All kids Sunday school will take a break in August. Sunday 2nd-Hour Kids Church continues through August. The new ministry year begins on Sunday, September 12. All parents are to attend the kickoff Sunday in the joint worship service at 10:00 am with their children, followed by registration and sign up in various serving opportunities within KidMin. This is to align our ministry strategy with our mission/vision, to partner with parents in their kids' discipleship process.
CBC Chinese School classes are held on Sunday afternoons at 1:30 pm, beginning Sunday, September 12. Traditional and Simplified Chinese classes include Chinese character reading & writing, calligraphy, conversation, recital and activity teaching. CBC Re-Connecting this Summer (June 6 - Aug 29). Download the new summer schedule, revised on 06/11/21. Classes updated include Bible ESL, Youth, Hope and Adult Co-ed. Rev. Andrew Chao will lead the Chinese Senior Adults monthly (1st Sunday of the month) on July 4 & Aug 1; seniors' class will resume weekly beginning September 5. Recruitment of co-workers: In order to prepare for the second phase of CBC's open church meeting, in children and youth ministry, more brothers and sisters are needed to participate in the ministry. CBC is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support and assist the Pastors in managing and carrying out all ministries. To assist, organize, and promote special events. To be a liaison between the staff and pastors. The Administrative Assistant will oversee all secretaries and will help to promote and grow the overall church wide ministry.
