Home Dear KidMin Family,
What a week! As we were gearing up for upcoming big events
(Resurrection Sunday, kids baptism, kids presentation, family worship, VBS,
etc.), God had a different plan for us! (Proverbs 16:9) His plan is always
perfect and he shields all who take refuge in Him (Psalms 18:30-32).
We are people of obedience and faith. As we follow the recommendations
and orders from our civil authorities, we will adjust the way we carry out our
ministries and continue our journey in Christ together. Please make sure
that you also check in on a regular basis to the
KidMin Parents/Kids Facebook page for updates and resources provided for
you and your kids/families. Should you have any questions or needs, please do

What's Been Done in a Week's Time:

Numerous meetings were conducted with all KidMin program coordinators, leadership teams, and teaching teams - brainstorming on how we will carry out ministry in this challenging time.

Hours and days have been spent researching for any other options & channels - potential tools and resources that may be suitable and helpful for families in such time.

Newsletters were sent out through emails, on facebook page, and posted here to keep KidMin family informed.
In Summary:
It's both exciting and exhausting to transition
to a new virtual frontier suddenly. Good news is, it is a biblical model of
passing on faith where homes are the primary place for kids faith development.
We will keep our eyes on Jesus and figure out what God has in
store for us through this endeavor (1 Corinthians 2:9).
For Now:
Awana will make adjustments and continue to
finish this school year, with coaches supporting parents & checking in with
clubbers on a weekly basis. We will continue to have our Award Night in May,
either back in the FLC or virtually.
Sunday school teachers & Nursery/Tots leaders will keep in touch
with kids/families in their classes on a weekly basis, to encourage and pray
with them. No lesson giving, but please do share your prayer requests with them.
*LifeWay just made available their Digital Pass materials FREE for
families temporarily. Families now can access the materials everyday, with
new materials uploaded every Thursday evening. Log In to Digital Pass with
your LifeWay Account or Register to create a new account to access the lesson
materials.

We will provide Kids Church online, using "All In for Jesus" by FaithKidz@Home - 5 lessons focus on Jesus.

This includes a pretty comprehensive 30~ minutes
worship program with message, Bible verse, key word, worship songs, prayer,
and discussions for families. Kids get to claim a prize (adopt a stuffed animal
lamb or donkey) when they complete all 5 lessons in April.
Families have the flexibility to choose to do it together on Sunday
morning, after meal, or anytime. It's simple, just click the link

and then follow directions (you will receive a new lesson each week):
1. Gather together with your family
2. Watch the video
3. Worship and share
4. Play along
5. Pray together
As long as you do it together and follow through
the life application throughout the week, please keep a record to submit to
either your kid's leader or myself in order to claim a prize later on.
Parents: you are encouraged to take photos of your family activities
during this period and post them in
KidMin Parents/Kids Facebook page for encouragement and connection. We
would LOVE to see your family there.
