Living Under Grace
Mt. 20: 1-16

The Symbolism:  landowner - God the Father
                             workers - believers
                             denarius – eternal life
                             foreman - Jesus
work day - life on earth
                             evening - eternity

Living under Grace means recognizing:

1) God’s goodness to us

    a) to call us. (vs. 1)

Acts. 17:25
“And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.”
    b) to continue to call. (vs. 3, 5, 6)
2 Pet. 3:9
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
    c) to give what is fair.  (vs. 3)

2) our hopelessness before God.

3) our equal-standing before others

    Grace:  humbles the prideful
                gives hope to the hopeless

4)  our responsibility to be fruitful to His call; living by grace.

2 Cor. 8:1-5

2 Cor. 9:8
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
