Letting Go of Stones
Jn. 8:1-11

Authenticity of the Passage

Character study of 2 figures

I. The woman – much  grace  received.

I am in the same predicament as the woman.

Our awareness of Christ's forgiveness diminishes as we lose touch with the depth of our sinfulness (Ps. 103: 2-4; Lk. 18: 9-14

II. The Scribes and Pharisees – little grace was given.

I have a similar problem as the Pharisees (Mt. 7:3-5, 23:23)

We need to be  grace - givers  not  stone throwers.
